The practice is proudly owned and operated by Dr Marcus McAllister (Chiropractor). An approachable, friendly, down to earth professional Chiropractor who will listen to your needs and get results, so that you can get on with life!
Dr Marcus has been in practice for over 15 years and is the former owner of Dr Mac Chiropractic (9 years).
The modern North Shore Chiropractic clinic offers comfortable furnishings, relaxed environment, great music and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. Our aim is to offer a fun, yet professional experience, where people will look forward to visiting. If your visit is related to an accident or injury then you may qualify for ACC to help cover some of your costs. You can go directly to a Chiropractor, you do not need a referral from a GP. Our premises are conveniently located to service the entire North Shore and Albany City area. We are within a four minute drive from either the Greville Road or Oteha Valley off ramps.

Dr Marcus McAllister
Dr Marcus is passionate about health, wellbeing and helping people. He knew he had a calling to help people since his late teen’s when his sales and IT roles at Mainfreight involved helping his clients with the best solutions for their needs. He realised he could only help people so much this way. He was inspired by his late brother in law Chiropractor Dr Doug Blackbourn and how he could help people, including himself, when in severe pain and he mainly used only his hands.
Dr Marcus began his 6 years of study to become a Chiropractor with a B (Chiro) in his late 20’s. He has been practicing as a Chiropractor in private practice since 2007. He owned and managed Dr Mac Chiropratic for 9 years before moving to his new clinic Move for Life Chiropractic.
Dr Marcus has also run a corporate Chiropractic centre at Mainfreight since 2008, which is the company that he had his first full time job with, and been closely associated with since 1995.
